Empowering Young Voices Through Language, Communication and Confidence
Professor was proud to support the Super Orator Global Youth Speech Contest, an international speech competition dedicated to encouraging young people to develop their language, communication and public speaking abilities.
The contest provides children with an opportunity to express their ideas and showcase their abilities on an international platform, while encouraging them to build confidence and strengthen their communication skills.
Inspiring Young Minds Through Public Speaking
The Super Orator Global Speech Contest aims to enhance children's Chinese language organisation, logical thinking and expression skills through public speaking.
More than simply a competition, the initiative encourages students to step forward and express themselves with confidence. Through preparing and delivering their speeches, participants have the opportunity to develop important skills such as clear communication, logical thinking, self-expression and presentation.
The contest also provides a valuable platform for children to interact and compete with participants from different countries, giving them greater exposure to an international environment.
During its first season in March 2020, the competition was conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic and attracted participation from approximately 48 countries worldwide. Malaysia recorded the highest participation, with 148 students taking part.
Following the success of the first season, the second season continued to provide young participants with an engaging platform to develop their public speaking abilities and express themselves confidently.
